- Hybrid roofs put solid panels over the seating and acrylic near the house windows
- Acrylic sheets: Clear 85% light, Bronze 55%, Solar Cool 40%, Heat Stop 50% light and 75% of the heat blocked
- Heat Stop blocks the most heat while passing more light than Solar Cool, so it is the usual pick for a west-facing patio; Clear suits a patio that is already shaded and only needs rain cover
